We typically don’t recommend fluoride treatments for anyone under the age of 3. And in younger patients, we may recommend a dental sealant instead of fluoride, depending on their needs. Children who use fluoride toothpaste should be supervised during brushing to avoid swallowing and ensure they rinse properly.
Why do I still need to have my teeth cleaned twice a year?
